Sustainability Project
Protecting the environment is at the forefront of our minds, so at Kelchner we are committed to recycling and reducing landfill waste. We’re committed to using suppliers that share our vision for a sustainable world. As a rule of thumb, we try to use suppliers in the local area that ensure the environmental impact of transportation is kept to a minimum. We’re continually reviewing our processes to ensure as a business, we operate with the minimum carbon footprint as is possible.
IT ALL GOES TO THE REYCYCLING CENTRE
We recycle everything. Whether it’s the packaging of certain ingredients, or the recycling of spent grains as compost – nothing goes to waste as part of our brewing process.
the greensand trust Project
The Greensand Trust is an independent environmental charity that works with local communities and landowners to conserve and enhance the distinctive landscape, wildlife and history of the Greensand Ridge and wider area, improving access, understanding and enjoyment for the benefit of everyone.
Kelchner have brewed some specific beers for the Greensland trust as well as sponsering the recent Flitton Flit Run, all of which helps provide essential charitable donations
